I'm slacking ! D:
Hello readers!
This is just an update. I havent had a computer the last week or so and I'm also in the process of moving & getting my room ready at my parents & spending time with my best friend AND looking for a second job.
I'm not forgetting about my blog, it's just getting a little out of order in my life that I haven't had time to bale or cook, and also with lack of funds at the moment I'm living on very little haha!
Ive also been feeling rather sick, so I've been sleeping a lot!
Once I get settled in at my parents again I'll be baking and cooking away !
Happy eating everyone :)

Something New
Hello! :)
Today's blog is what I picked up from my little shopping trip yesterday ! :)
I got up rather early yesterday, and while realizing I left my wallet in the car and hubby had already left for work, I had to go get a new bank card first! But yesterday was so beautiful that I walked for most of it and then took the bus to the mall.
My whole plan was to buy just two cook books, but who actually leaves the store with the one thing they intended to buy! In my mall we have Cole's bookstore, which to be honest, I lvoe it! I've been to a few different book stores, not many but a few and Cole's is my absolute favorite! The employees there are ALWAYS so nice and helpful!
When ever I go to the mall for one specific thing and not just to look around I ALWAYS go on the days stores have deals on what I want! SO just my luck Cole's had a table FULL of cook books and baking books on sale!
Here are the books I picked up :)
This one is obvious. It's all about smoothies and with summer right around the corner it's PERFECT.
The better part of this book? It was priced for $10 BUT I got it for $2 because that's what the computer said the price was!
The cashier was like " Oh, this one is coming up for $2 instead of $10, that's awesome " and I said " that's a great steal " and we both laughed.
It never fails at Cole's I always find the neatest deals there!
I've flipped through it and it looks delicious! Great breakfast ideas and hot summer days (which we can sneak in liquor :) )
Another neat part of this book is that it tells you what tools to use for best results as well as a complete guide to what each fruit and veggie does to help your body with all the vitamins and such that you need. So I'm really excited for this book!
This one here has as you can see over 500 different recipes. I'm really looking forward to this one because all I know how to make is pizza, panzarottis , burgers, chicken/stir fry, basic stuff and I want to expand my skills. Plus I want to learn to cook real food ! haha .
I flipped through this book and while some of these seem kind simple there are a few that I will have to build up too, but they look yummy anyway! This book deals with different things from Veggie dishes, Fish & Shellfish, Risotto, and tons more other yummy things! They have a chapter with chicken, which is my all time favorite food! I could eat chicken everyday! So I'm looking forward to that chapter the most!
I also got this book on sale for about $10. So I went on a perfect day!
I am a bit bummed out though because they had a cook book by my favorite Food Network Chef, except it was a bit out of my budget. Chef Michael is my Favorite Food Network Chef! I just love how he does his show, it's different and I like that his family is sometime on the show. Makes it seem more friendly :) . What really catches my attention his his little area he keeps all his spices & stuff. I wish I could actually go to his set ! It'd be like a dream :) It'd be really cool to actually meet him because he seems like he has an awesome personality and it would be so cool to cook along side him !
But like I said I'm an armature and I'm just getting into this cooking thing, so maybe it was okay that I didn't go all out and get his book because I'm still learning. So maybe once I get myself worked up I will go out and get it! I'm really excited to read through and learn his way of cooking :)
This is my blog for today guys! I haven't posted in a few days since it was St. Patty's weekend and I got all busy with my best friend hanging out. We were going to bake up some green food but that didn't happen so I'm hoping I'll do a late St Patty's day bake :)

COFFEE DRINKERS !
QUICK TIP!
I Don't drink coffee myself, BUT here's a tip that I've learned while CLEANING! I picked it up from one of the ladies that had this nice fancy coffee maker and the fancy fine ground coffees from where ever.
If you keep loose coffee in the freezer it keeps it fresh!
So if you take a baggie of coffee to work for the week, keep it in the freezer ! It will stay fresh :)

Hello All!
Today I started my day rather early. Usually I stay up all night and sleep all day but I've been able to to get back on track, so I got up at 7AM for once but didn't really get out of bed until about 9AM and decided that I would make a Quiche !

Pour into a 24" Dish/Texas Muffin Tins
Bake for 40 Mins.
Bake for 40 Mins.
I did how ever make the chicken with my own idea!
First I obviously thawed out the chicken while I prepared the Quiche, once thawed I cut it into pieces and as I was cutting I had the pan on a low heat with about a tablespoon and a half of margarine with salt, pepper and red seasoning salt, and some hot sauce, added in the chicken and let it cook until cooked (should look golden in colour ) .
Below are photos of the process. In the end my quiche didn't turn out how I wanted it too. Not sure if maybe I missed something or didn't cook it long enough, but it tasted delicious regardless. The chicken was just like a side to the quiche. If you use this recipe let me know how you guys didn't ! Because my turn out wasn't has planned, then again, I'm just getting into this whole actually cooking a meal thing HAHA
Happy Eating :)

First of The Baking Blog!
To start of the blog, I decided to go with something simple! While I made biscuits the other day, I'll make that the next post.
I used the simple Kraft peanut butter recipe. Peanut butter is one of the most common allergies these days within food. My nephew is one of those who has the allergy. So just remember, when dealing with peanut butter snacks ALWAYS ask and make sure there are no allergies and if there is, just be sure to wash your hands and brush your teeth!
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
1/2 CUP SUGAR
1 EGG
METHODHEAT oven to 325F
MIX ingredients with a large spoon
ROLL into 24 balls, place 4" apart on baking sheet - flatten with fork
BAKE for 20 mins until light brown - do NOT over bake

Intentions
Hello all ! To any that read.
While this isn't my first blog, I decided to start over new since I made a mess out of my old blog. I do not like this new blogger layout, that's for sure.
I decided to create this blog for my new passions, or more like my hobbies. Currently I'm on the road of baking & cooking. This weekend I'm going to pick up a baking recipe book and a cook book, and make something everyday at least.
Eventually I'll be starting one for sewing and such when I have the time to do so and then since the weather is getting nice a new one for my "photography" (since I'm not at all a professional). AND when I move back to my own place, I'll get back to my work out blog as well.
But for now, one thing at a time right?
Well I hope everyone enjoys this blog of food!
